Reasons of psychogenic headache.

"The emotional factors play an important role in causing headache for many people" -- write Joel R. Saper and Kenneth R. Magee, in his book "Freedom from headache" (“Freedom from Headache"). Some headaches could be psychogenic in nature (due to be particularly emotional), but even if the psychological causes, the effect is real.

Studies show that some common causes of pain emotions are strong or permanent stress, anxiety or inner anger. These emotional states can lead to prolonged reduce in muscles, skin skull, shoulder or neck - and thus a headache muscle strain - or increased vascular sites mentioned in the organism that causes vascular headache.

Like negative emotions provoke physical pain, and physical pain (chronic headaches including) is a negative emotional state. The worse is the headache, the greater the fear of it, and depression associated with its expectations, and the greater is the likelihood of that headache.

There are headaches, which exist only in the mind. Inorganic headache (without different natural causes), they are a real, but could not be associated with any adverse biological state. This headache is the result of the internal feelings of guilt, anger, depression, anxiety or fear - headache can be the embodiment of emotion or past experiences oppressive consciousness, but yet unexpected appearance. It is not medication; for reassurance psychotherapy is needed or other forms of psychological assistance.
